Freak and Killer Kane are similar because when ever freak talks he talks about the world like on page #45 it says "A dragon is fear of the natural world" It says at the end "natural world. He relats with KILLER KANE by he usally talks about how he was in jail, and he is made at the world about being in jail. Also they are both very smart and use there common sence all the time.

They are similar to echother because they are both eather are bigger than most people or smaller. They both have to deal with people thinking differantly about them. For example people just assumed that Killer Kane did the crime just because he is big and tough, and there at the time. I'm not saying that he didn't! Freak has to deal with people making fun of him because he is smaller than most people. This has nothing to do with this, but during science we were looking up facts for ower chemical property, and I found out that mine is that if you lack manganese (my chemical) then your bones won't grow. You would have a growing problem. I think that Freak had lack of mannganese.

How there diffrent: Freak sees the world in rose colored glasses. He looks on the bright side of everything. He made having a disablity a cool thing. Kenny sees the world in mud colored glasses. He did bad things for no reason. Freak is very intellagent and uses big words. Kenny might be smart but he really is dumb also because he might have killed Max's mother and to kill somone you know your going to jail. So why would you kill a person if you knew you would get put in jail?
How there similar: I don't think there similar. Like I said Freak is more of a positive person and Kenny is more of a negative person. J.F. #5
2.Freak and KILLER KANE are differant by KILLER KANE is a bad person he kidnapped Max, and Freak is a good person he always does nice things to Max and everyone else.

1} I think Freak and Killer Kane are different of how they deal with real world because threw out the book we all know that Freak is a really nice kid even though people bully him. On the other hand Killer Kane is the COMPLETE OPISOITE because in chapter 19 “Into the black down under” Loretta is trying to help set free Max, but then Killer Kane comes and starts to choke Loretta to death and it sounds like Killer Kane want’s to leave Max tied up and that is CHILD ABUSE.
2} Something that is similar between Freak and Killer Kane to how they deal with the real world is they both can keep secrets. I think this because when Freak had all of his x-rays for his body, and thought that he was going to be the first bionically improved human, he didn’t tell anyone until he met Max. It is the same with Killer Kane we don’t really know if he killed his wife or not and, also why the reason he left Max behind with out saying anything.

Kevin and Kenny deal with the world in the same way becuase they both like to take charge. They are different because Kevin uses words to take charge like on p.77 when Freak gets control over the classroom when he yells order in the court let justice be served, and Kenny uses his fists to get things done like on p.127 when he starts to strangle Loretta Lee.

They both kind of try and hide from the world in a way. Freak hides from the fact that he is physically disabled. Killer Kane tries to hide from the fact that he is a killer. They are also both hiding from the fact that they are kind of outsiders to the world and they also feel unwanted.
Freak and Kenny "KILLER KANE" are simaliar in ways such as.... they both are always treated differently than other people. Freak is always being made fun of because he has a growth disibility. That is why Tony D. and his gang are always calling him FREAK. For Kenny Kane, everyone always judges him on his outsides. He looks so big and tough you obviously think he is some kind of gangster or killer. I'm not saying that Killer Kane is not a big fat liar/killer, all I'm saying is that for some people that look big and tough on the outside, their not always like that on the inside.

Kenny "KILLER KANE" and Freak are different because if someone were to go up to "KILLER KANE" and say something without him asking you a question he probably would take you away and start beating you up or choking you to death's door. On the other hand, Freak would probably never do anything like that. He would talk it out in words you would of never heard in your life. Also, Freak is so small and doesn't have a good chance at all of growing anymore, and it seems to be that Mr. Kane, "KILLER KANE" grows to fast, and to much!

1)Freak and Killer Kane are similiar in how they face the world because they both have to deal with people judging them by the way they look. (Freak is small, Killer Kane is Large)
2)Freak and Killer Kane are differant in how they face the world because Killer Kane is not that nice even though he says he's improved, He isn't nice at all. When Loretta Lee offered them the pizza he said, "That the best you can do for us, leftover pizza." That is mean because that was nice to offer them pizza. Also he ties up his own son, which isn't kind even if it is not your own son. He also hates the people who judge him by how he looks. Freak, on the other hand, is a kind person, and does not care about when people make fun of him.

1."Freak" and "Killer Kane" are the same because, everyone looks at them differently then everyone eles, and they just egnor it because they are use to it. I also think they are the same because they they both have a growing disease that will make them die quiker then they probly would if they didn't have that disease.
2.I think they are different because "Freak" is way smaller then everyone eles and "Killer Kane" is way taller then everyone eles. I also think they are different because "Freak" is smarter then "Killer Kane" and "Killer Kane" has been to jail and "Freak" hasn't been to jail.
I dont think thay are simaler becasuse freak when something goes bad hill always try to make the sitiaotion better. Killer Kane would always just try to make it worse.
I think they are different because Killer Kane is a very bad person and does lots of bad things but Freak is always nice to weeveryone and never mean but that just might be because hill think hill get teased back that he has a growing problem.

1.The reason they are diffrent is because Freak is always nice like a friend should be, and never bosses Max around. While Kenny (Killer Kane) is the oppisite of that.
2.The reason they are the same is that they both keep secrets to them selves like when Freak kept the secret about the hospital and then he told Max about it ( getting the first bionicly body transplant.) Killer Kane (Kenny) also keeps secrets because, yes he said "I, Kenneth David Kane SWARE that I did not kill this boys mother, and if I did then may god strike me dead," but crimanals lie alot and you can never trust a crimanal. I'm not saying that I know that Kenny killed Max's mom, but you never know if it's true or not.

They are similar because other people think of them not like normal people. Freak is very small because of his disease, and Kenny Kane is labeled "Killer"from the crime that he has been put in jail for comiting, wheter he really did it or not.
They are different because Freak doesn't think that he is different from anybody else, so he acts like a normal person. Kenny Kane hides from the cops and is kind of mysterious.He also likes to think that he is great and superior to everyone else.

"Freak" and "Killer Kane" are similar in how they deal with the world because they are both taller or shorter than the normal size of people. They deal with it by having people look at them differently then how they really are, because people just assumed Killer Kane committed the crime because he's big and scary and tough and at the place the crime was committed. He might have, but we're not sure. Freak deals with it by people looking at him strangely because he's so short, people assume that he's stupid inside, but he's really a genius. They're different because Freak is a good, smart person and is nice to Max and a lot of other people. Killer Kane is different because he's a bad person who's been in jail for being guilty of murdering someone.

One way they are similer is because we don't know if both of then are telling the truth like is freak telling the truth about the robot thing. For the father is did he tell the truth about Max's mom. or was it just a lie. Also, like no name said (the 1 one)tehy are small for there age or Big for any age.
They are different because Freak doesn't lie and his father does. Also Freak is a prodigy. His dad is not that talented unless you count being mean.

part1 They are different to each other because they are bigger and smaller then your usual human. They both are good story telles. Some of their story are made up to. They both use the world like when freak got up on the desk and yelled "Order in the court let there be order freak uses his mouth to get things done. Max's father killer kane uses his fists to get things done like when he begin to choke loretta lee. Also Freak is smart by the big words he uses.Killer Kane may be smart by is does not show. When you kill someone you can get sent to jail like what happen to max's father.
part2 They are similar to each other because they both have deal with being calle killer kane and migght(freak). Also they have things that they may not want to share with other people like freak told max that he was going to be the first human robot and max's father has not told anyone if he killed his wife or not.

I agree with L.D.#3 on both questions because like he said Freak is alittle nicer to people than Kenny. Kenny was strangling Lee for trying to help his son. on the othar hand if Freak was the father he would prbably just speak loudly to Lee.
I think they are similar beacause KILLER KANE thinks that the world is a bad place beacause cops can do anything to you when you don't do anything. Freak also thinks the world is a bad place because all of the people make fun of him because he has a problem. I think they both don't like the world.

1. Freak and Kenny are alike by people think mean things about them because of their apperances. They both try to ignore it. Also they both went out looking for Max. First Kenny came to look for Max to try to be a real father to his son. After Kenny kidnapped Max Freak went out looking for him because as a good friend he didn't want something bad to happen.
2. They a different because of their size. Also Freak seems to enjoy his life because he doesn't have a long of a life as a normal person would. Kenny on the other hand doesn't trust anyone because he has been to jail for something he might not have done. He might hate the life that he has and wishes that he could have a normal life.

Question One:
I agree with LD#3 because yes, they both do like to take charge.Killer Kane takes control with his fist and Freak likes to take charge with words.As well,they both are brave because when Freak stood up to Tony D.(the bully)and Killer Kane wasn't afraid to go into the burned old apartment with sagging floors in pitch dark,which is really scary if you think about it.

I think Freak and Killer Kane are different because Freak uses his imagination everyday and Killer Kane does not use it at all.Also, Freak is nicer then Killer Kane because when Freak saw Tony D.'s gang put a purse into the sewer, Max and Freak went to go get it and return it,but Killer Kane wouldn't return it, he would keep it even though he "believe's in God,peace,and wants to become a Reverend(on the road)."

Freak and Killer Kane are similar in how they deal with the world because they both have to deal with people who judge them on the outside. Not the inside. Freak is smaller than other people because of his disease and people tease him for his size. Killer Kane is huge, monstrous, and scary and is accused of murdering his wife because of his size. Also, Freak looks at the world in a fantasy way, with knights and dragons. Killer Kane looks at the world like it has done him a great injustice, which is kind of like his own fantasy.
They are different because Killer Kane looks at the world in a negative way while Freak is a good person and doesn't let the situation get him down.

Killer Kane was married to Annie, "max's mom" who was friends with Gwen. Gwen's father disapeared when he heard that freak had a birth defect. This is the same as when Max's father went to jail for eight years, and it was like he disapeared. Freak and Killer Kane are also both unpopular, and they don't let it bother them.
Freak has a birth defect, so he is very small, and Killer Kane is very big. Freak has a good heart, and wanted to return Loretta Lee's purse, and Killer Kane was choking Loretta, which shows that he is reckless.
